Waitangi Writing – Activity 2

Kia ora! Today I have finished yet another Waitangi Writing Activity, there’s a mix and match. Acrostic poem. And just same pictures that has currently happen this year or last year.

The mix and match slide was super easy, I remembered some of them from a history article and gotten a check up from a smart friend of mine. (her names Alvie).

Then for the acrostic poem, I have learnt this from last year. So I basically know how it goes. Plus… I read sometimes 😛

Next, you already know how I got the pictures. Google.

Waitangi Writing – Activity 1

Kia ora. It’s 2024 and I’m back from Apia, hooray!! But right now, I have done my very first 2024 Literacy work. This is about Waitangi Day, like what do I know about it? What typical day I do when it’s Waitangi Day? And how I would commemorate Waitangi Day at our school?

If you want to know what I have wrote down on each slide, just click on it!
(P.S We have Mrs Lagitupu as our literacy teacher!)

Digital Notan Art – Step it Up

This week I did the ACTUALLY Notan Art – Kick Start Activity. All I did was think of random shapes to put in. Like my point of view? Anyways, this wasn’t actually hard because I done the ACTUALLY Step it Up – Activity. So yeah.

Leave a positive comment, to help me remember things 😛

Digital Notan Art – Kick Start

Kia ora! I’m back with another SLJ Blog Post. I wanted to catch up with all the Kick Start and Step it Up Activities, I have missed because of my Holiday in Samoa. I’m currently using my auntie’s MacBook Air to do some work or games or emailing.

Anyways… this week I have done the Digital Notan Art – Kick Start Activity! Notan is a Japanese design concept involving the play and placement of light and dark elements. So here’s mine. As you can see, my theme is the New York City. I chose this one because I have dreamed to go there ever since. And maybe one day I’ll be able to go to New York City when I’m older. You’ll all see!!

Also the next post will be about my Journey here in Apia ^^

Bug of the Year – Kick Start

This week I did the Bug of the Year – Kick Start Activity, this task is about picking bugs that you see around your house. So I picked 3 MOST SEEN bugs around my house! Just watch my slides and see what my 3 most seen bugs around my house. Also on the last slide, we get to create our own bug. Hope you like the information around my own bug.

Colour Block Landscape – Step it Up

This week I did the Colour Block Landscape – Step it Up Activity, this is where we make a colour block SUNSET with google drawing. I made my one simple, but ended two people in it. I tried really hard to make it look like an actually sunset in here. And I think it looks pretty good. Anyways, what would you do at a beach? I would probably go swimming but I sometimes get scared if it’s deep, I almost drown before in a swimming pool which is why I have a fear of deep ends. Also I would really love to eat BBQ at the beach!

Hope you enjoy this blog post. Please do leave a positive comment! ^^

Shadow Art – Kick Start

This week I did the Shadow Art – Kick Start Activity. It was all about going outside (if it was sunny), then looking for a plant or something and trace their shadow. In my backyard, it’s pretty dead. I think the hardiest part of doing this activity is tracing the shadow because when it’s sunny, it can also be a bit windy. And the easiest part of doing this activity is colouring my shadow art! Because I love to colour in stuff, I even have a colouring book to relax my mind.

Please do enjoy and leave a positive comment!^^

This week I have done the Vibrant Viola – Kick Start Activity! The task is all about using the “Viola the Bird” in Google Arts & Culture. As you can see, I have two links. One to “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and one is the real task “Ode to Joy”. Firstly the music on Ode to Joy is a bit too off line because it’s glitching a bit, and sometimes I need to stop for a quick break on my finger. So it’s basically hard. But I really enjoy doing We Wish You a Merry Christmas, it’s not too bad and pretty easy!

[5 Fun Facts about Beethoven]
– His First Concerto wasn’t his first concerto.
– People hated his Late Quartets.
– He might have once performed for Mozart.
– He was terrible at maths.
– We don’t actually know when he was born?

Colour Block Landscape – Kick Start

This week I did the Colour Block Landscape – Kick Start. I tried making it look like a landscape size? And I made sure that I made the colours from dark to medium to light. As you can see, you will see a sunset and a palm tree. I made this because I’ll be going to Samoa on January the 4th (2024), so I might not collect my award and meet my new Year 7’s. Also! I’m going to Samoa to meet all my cousins, aunties, uncles, nana and papa. Anyways, hope you liked my colour block landscape (I tried very hard, which means it’s kinda challenging🥲😓)

Under the Sea – Kick Start

This week I am doing the Under the Sea – Kick Start Activity. This task is all about creating sea creatures under the ocean! Also if I wanted to swim with an animal, it would be a dolphin and the animal I want to see underwater is the Great White Shark! What about you? Also can you guess the animals you see in the sea? And the photo at the right too?
